Every year all kids of our kindergatren and their parents come together for Christmas tree lighting. Music teachers help us organizing this celebration . All sing the songs and go in an interesting plays. Afters songs and plays children greet Christmas tree with songs -  ‘’O Christmas Tree’’ and ‘’ Jingle Bells’’. Music teacher presented for children „The four seasons- winter” of Vivaldi.

Working in the project "Natural materials in children's visual activity” the teachers encouraged children to go outside and try to see and sense the autumn – the most colorful season.

Within the Comenius project "ART for Learning ART for Peace, ART for Nature, ART for Life" Salaspils pre-school “Ritenitis” organized art week. Children were introduced to paintings and artists. Salaspils town has a municipal art and music school, which our children visited during the art week.

The end of summer and the turning of the sun towards winter marks the autumn equinox (September 23). By the celebration of Miķeļi all crops must be stored and the gardens harvested, as after Miķeļi the gates are open for zwinter.
