About project
“A colored pen in the hands of a child is a key which unlocks thoughts and feelings from the child’s world”. With a constant love and respect towards our children’s tender age (3-6 years old) and giving special emphasis to the development of their creativity and personality, 9 Pre-schools from Greece, Cyprus, Spain, Germany, Romania, Latvia, Italy, Czech and Poland, decided to “violate” the closed doors of universal peace, of the nature we live in, of life itself. The European Program COMENIUS will be our exploratory vehicle and ART will be our burglar’s tool.
Our motto is “ART for learning, ART for peace, ART for nature, ART for life”. We don’t know each other, so we will let ART lead us, inspire us, and make us sensitive. We selected ART for our guide because it is a universal language; the mother tongue of humanity. We want to speak this language, to feel like children of the same mother, citizens of the same motherland, citizens of Europe, citizens of Earth.
In all Pre-schools ART is our life and NATURE is the source of our inspiration. We’ll draw, we’ll sing, we’ll dance, and we’ll act roles. We’ll study Art and Nature to get to know them, to listen to their sounds, to be inspired by their colors. We’ll learn about them so as to become the protection shield of our Earth.
Through this cooperation we aim that all of us will participate in a festivity of tradition and civilization. We expect to experience days of knowledge, brotherhood and peace. Posters, educational games, photographs, works of art, fairy tales, songs, dancing, music, exhibitions, contests, as well as culinary moments will be the reward to all those who will respond to our invitation.
Art will become the bridge of Communication, Friendship and Peace for all!
